Special Olympics Texas!




Special Olympics Texas
on the
UTA Campus
Brit & I started off our summer
right here volunteering...
random hugs,
endless questions,
ranges of emotions.
Brit hung the medals around the necks of
the basketball players whose team placed...
it touched me to watch these athletes
who had trained for this moment
humbly cheering & clapping for themselves...
no pretense here...
they were grateful...
I loved watching among 250 athletes
lost in laughter
lost in losing
lost in winning
lost in loving their life.
