16 - "Better to Be the Credit Than The Shame" Genesis 46-48
My Dear Ones, Sometimes God's promises move slow in fulfillment.
It has been 215 years since God promised Abraham that he would make him a great nation. God is working in your lives. Let God work.
Joseph didn't force anything on his brothers who contrived to dispose of him; now Joseph contrives to settle each one into work and a home and a life. Gen 46:28. An honest living---"it is better to be the credit of a mean post than the shame of a high one." And that quote from Matthew Henry makes me want to live well where I am, anonymity. Returning good for evil. May that be the mantra of our lives.
I'm so touched by Barrett never wanting to throw anyone "under the bus." Changes the way I do things. Return good for evil!
PHOTO: Barrett, the way you treat people touches me deeply. Loyal.
